THE MANAGEMENT BOARD
The Board of Management consists of three members and takes its decisions by majority vote. The Management Board members work together as a team and inform each other on an ongoing basis of important activities and events in their areas of responsibility. Apart from the joint responsibility for the management of the group, each member is responsible for individual areas.
THORSTEN HERMELINK, CEO, HAMBURG
Thorsten Hermelink (born 1969) completed his business studies at the University of Lüneburg in 1994 with a Business Administration degree. He subsequently held senior positions at international-scale trading companies, latterly as management board member of a leading retail company. While there he gained wide experience in the strategic focusing and expansion of such businesses, and in the development of multi-channel sales systems. He has been Chief Executive Officer of Hawesko Holding AG since December 2015. Thorsten Hermelink is responsible for group strategy, e-commerce and distribution as well as Corporate Human Resources and Corporate Development.
ALEXANDER BORWITZKY, COO, HAMBURG
(born 1968) graduated with an MBA from the University of Nottingham in 1992. After holding senior positions in international consumer goods and retail groups, he was one of Jacques' managing directors from 2013 to April 2020. Alexander Borwitzky has been a member of the Board of Management of Hawesko Holding AG since January 2015, where he is responsible for Business Development and Omni-Channel Retail.
RAIMUND HACKENBERGER, CFO, HAMBURG
(born 1968) studied at the University of Trier (degree in Business Administration). After senior positions in leading German and international consumer-goods companies he became Chief Financial Officer of Hawesko Holding in March 2017. Raimund Hackenberger is in charge of Finance and Financial Controlling, Corporate Audit & Compliance, Investor Relations, Corporate Logistics as well as Legal.
NIKOLAS VON HAUGWITZ

Nikolas von Haugwitz (born 1968) graduated with a degree in Economics from the Free University of Berlin in 1996. Since 2003 he has held management positions at Hanseatisches Wein- und Sekt-Kontor hawesko.de and since 2008 has been one of its directors. He is also managing director of Carl Tesdorpf – Weinhandel zu Lübeck. He has headed the distance-selling segment since January 2015.
